I was part of the Winter 2005 New Member Class at Wilfrid Laurier University (Zeta Omicron Chapter), which was my first year at university. By Spring of 2008, I was wrapping up my final classes and feeling bittersweet about leaving both my home for the last four years, and of course my sisters. Delta Gamma Formal, in April 2008, is still one of the best memories I have of my time as a collegian.

Dancing, laughing, and reminiscing with my sisters (some of whom, like me, were also graduating that summer) was something I will never forget. These are the bonds of Delta Gamma that hold true, not only during the years as a collegian, but long after you earn your degree and make your way into the world. I am so happy to be part of the TAA, where I get to spend time with the sisters I love and wear my DG pin with pride.

When I went through recruitment and became a new member of Delta Gamma I felt instantly welcome into a sisterhood of such amazing and diverse women. Despite different interests and majors we all had something in common, the urge to Do Good. When someone asked me how it finally felt to be a Delta Gamma after initiation I explained that I became a Delta Gamma when I accepted my bid. I met my soulmates when I joined DG and i'm so glad that I get to spend time with my sisters even after graduation; Delta Gamma isn't four year, it's for life.

My favourite DG memories are from our overnight chapter retreats! I loved having all my sisters together laughing and sharing, it really allowed us to get to know each other better. It always reminded me how strong the DG bond is.
